Basic Printing Tips

Here is a page of TEST PRINTS. Please test before making a purchase.
More free pages to try in FREEBIES.

Make sure you have ADOBE ACROBAT READER on your computer. You can download the free program here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/. If you print from a preview or web window, the pages may not print correctly.

Please always print ACTUAL SIZE or 100%. Ensure that your insert looks centered in the preview.

NON-Duplex printing

Open your file and select "PRINT". Your settings should be similar to image A. Print ODD pages first. Keep your pages in order and carefully re-insert them in the printer. Next, print the EVEN pages to the back side (image B).

(If you want to be extra careful, you can print 1 page at a time:
Print page 1, reinsert. Then print page 2,
Print page 3, reinsert. Then print page 4, etc...)

DUPLEX printing

This is for printers that are able to print DOUBLE-SIDED. Click on "Print on Both Sides of Paper". Then choose either "Flip on long edge" or "Flip on short edge" depending on your insert size.

Most inserts will "Flip on SHORT edge".

Full letter size, Classic HP will "Flip on LONG edge".

Putting it together

For pages that are the same on front & back. Simply cut your pages using the trim marks as guides. Margins for holes are at the center. Punch holes.

For MULTIPLE booklet pages. After the pages are printed, take a quick look to make sure things are correct.

Cut your pages using the trim marks as guides.
Keep the pages in order and cut. You’ll then have 2 stacks of paper.

Take the 2 stacks and close them together like a book.
Punch holes and enjoy :)
